I've had great success over the years with HP, so why not this one? First thing I noticed was the battery life was far from great. It would drain even while the computer was in sleep mode. The kicker for me though was when I would type, it would frequently glitch and not type some of my letters.

How frustrating to be on a roll and then it fails to type some of your letters. When they finally filled in, there were random letters missing. I spent hours on the phone with Amazon technical support who couldn't help me and then directed me to HP, where I spent hours trying to update drivers and fix the problem. Finally, after looking at the date of manufacture , I opted to return it and get another. Maybe I just got a rotten egg. Same problems. And again, manufacturing date is !
